Planet X

Value not the valley, the scene extroadinaire.
Value not all wealthy, the one hundred or so
who are to selfishly declare,
life as they choose for all upon the Earth
is in fact a serfdom style for you
apart from them on Earth.

Go into a field, forest of once clean air
and hear no birds or bees buzzing
now – what does that have to open
into a slumbering sluggish mind?

No hope of sustainment,
now where is that to lead life
on planet once extroadinaire?

Continental

Continental clear blue skies
Continental wonderment way beyond surprise
But underneath the flags and parades
blue skies and delightful ways
there in the undergrowth green
beyond any other scene
is a lurking madness they call obscene.

People in their hovel type homes,
no water, no electricity
but the world of surprise is not unknown.

apart from visiting wealth
across many other continents who care less.

Did they in their wonderment at all this wealth
wonder where or why they had accumulated
such impossible amounts else where.
Travel out of the question for them
boats in harbours not the likes they will ever
in their own life see ever again.

Christmas calling

Christmas calling how far to go

I do not want to miss the celebrations
and the grand slam show.

Whatever is it that makes us so compliant
when the world around us is for ever dying?
What type of idiotic, patriotic call is to allow
the Christmas festivities to cost all that they do
for nothing more than the understated view
that we are all okay, and nothing for us to do?

I said a million more times now
that we are never going to shift our belief
unless we begin to understand
all the terror made in our name,
and then in a suddenness
of shock like understanding,
as if we had no idea at all.

What a debacle,
a dilemma of enormously foul kind,
waiting until the daylight
does in no way ever again dawn.
