Voices from Passchendaele

.
Here I am
among the woods I lie
settled down and no longer have to try
and kill my fellow human beings
ones like I, the inner soul
who has no meaning
to that which I had chosen to do.

Voices from Ypres

We are alone
We are not rested here
the battle over,
the songs of sorrow are long

And our days of misery
are not worth the agony our memory holds
And to us, not you
it now belongs.

God give us the grace,
the blessings now required
to live our lives
of misery they do contain
in peaceful sorrow we have to remain
and you, in your living have no idea,
but genuflect

Pity help us
why you cannot rest
our lives of who we are
to now in sorrow
deeply sadden do attest.

The highway of life

The highway of life is busy, don’t dawdle or you will be trampled over.

Pick up your bed and walk.
If not, don’t leave it in a main thoroughfare for others to trip over and be crippled by your issues.

Life is a parachute until someone forgets to pull the cord and then reality strikes hard.

Life is a ball, it bounces according to the terrain.

Life is a mistake if you cannot be aware of how precious you are.

Believe me I know

When under duress, think clearly about your symptom.

Is it yours alone or someone else’s to be shared?

How do I think clearly when under duress? – I do not.  So why ask this one major story to be resolved?

The answer –

Your other more powerfully influential self does know and by association that question is clearly understood, where later and I must emphasize later, that information is then and only then available.

And how do I know and believe that this is possible?Because I can truly attest that if I am in a quandary and get out that question of need, I am then assured, by past experience, to have an answer to help and eventually solve a critical life dilemma.

I talk not about illness, death or loss of another, but about loss of identity. A failure to believe oneself as valid, worthwhile and of a purpose, a call to be of use while on this Earth and in the end leave a valuable reminder of a presence, a particular theme of goodness behind. Not a hurt or hate, loss and sorrow of what I did or did not do that was more worthy of myself and fame.

For I am a humble, ordinary, unique and cautious being who loves and likes, with fears and concerns along my chosen path. And too, values that journey of old as a stamp, a reminder of what is possible then to be restored, valued and considered of worth for the future.

Suddenly

God what a shock

Suddenly there was no war – what would happen?

God, what a shock!

The view one had about life would change – but ‘how’ is the optimum word.

How would your life be if no war was ever felt possible again?

What would your life be if the world and yours in particular had no fear of loss, failure or heart ache due to the uncertainty of your own life’s worth?

The powerful belief that one is an isolated being is true, but not an entirely realistic situation when one lives in a world dictated by others who can cause and do cause demise.

The valuable lesson here is  – how do I , this individual being claim to be at peace when others around and even in my own world cause a disturbance, upset or injury?

The answer to all those questions about whether or not one is entirely free to be still, stand tall and own their right to exist comes down to a point about whether one is prepared to value their life, regardless of those who believe that life is a mere flick, toss or irrelevance in the scheme of whatever they think at that time is required as a necessity. – Irrespective of a human being’s right to live amicably.
