Can I call you home

Can I call you home dear, can I call you to come back in
and here upon my breath, breathe that life within?

There is a time of adventure and a time of rest,
but here on planet earth in the West
there is no time to spend at peace and in reflection
as it is far too much into greed and unrest.

God help those of a different breed who take life seriously,
well toward a life of pleasant thoughts
and endearing types of end.

It is a time when unrest is everywhere it appears
and our globe is under duress
as it panics and goes into some form of a dilemma tragically.

Who am I that calls you, that is your question I hear,
but this is not about you as much as
what you in that life on earth can do for me.

The Pilgrimage (back home)

I have been on a pilgrimage of sorts
travelling to unravel aspects of my fear
and trying to find a beauteous and creative part –
some say soul.

But I am convinced this is about the human mind
where the carnage of a greed-placed world exists,
no soul, just a greedy take-over approach to reside.

Evidence – Yes, get out and look.
See the value of your worth as a human being rot
and disgracefully discharge onto a criminal space
where the life of humanity (that is for each one of us),
has been eroded in the name of wealth.
And not all of it, but drop upon drop of another’s blood.
Oil – no more than for an oil dependent country in the west.

This is about life for a very few
and of them we are the participants idly going along
without first checking who we are in this global financial rort
at a damage level never ever being known before.
And to this I say,

Rise out of slumber and kiss that frog
and become a princely wise individual.

Sort through what is a conscience and ask…

Take my word for it…

Revelations come in waves
some quite stronger than others
some quiet and unassuming
and others well quite the opposite
violent, unbearable and without restraint.

Life – yours is a similar path
get use to it and suffer less.
Get around the barriers and explore within
where life is shaped, addressed and understood
at least to a point of indifference,
tolerance, acceptance and compromise.

Take my word for it…
Life begins and ends with a death.
Life is born – death to another
to allow growth to begin.
Death as life is a continuum,
but in-between is a choice – yours –
how…
learn the art of observation, reflection and thought.

No time for sentiment

Radio communication lost along a trail.

Sorry – no time for sentiment
war is about to wage
and hell about to be born.

No sense of triumph
No sense of how…
how to stop the violence
man now on the inhumane trail.

No time.
No defence.
Self-inflicted
hence…

A once quiet scene

Trust came along and belted me in the ear.
I heard the sound, the crack upon my mind.
Whatever had I been doing out there –
globally, violently, abusively –

Man, what a monster
when life and death appear so unfair.
Crime – no,
a disaster upon a once quiet scene,
a life enhancing, grace-filled space
destruction now – now no place free or safe.

No one cares to notice

Not now my darling
the sky is falling fast.
Mountain tops eroding
the mining trade a-blast.

No one cares to notice
crime an everyday occurrence.
Play time for children – parking
inside some mind altering gadget
or machine.

No time for caring, sharing
or empathy at all.
The soldiers bathe in glory
no matter the quandary
child or man, woman or babe.

Matters not the kill, the damage
all part of that elite military thrill.
I suspect an atom will fall upon us soon.

Nuclear damage – well evidence of health
already a witness, but third world
so no need to hurry, plenty of spending yet
for twenty-first century idleness
and greedy mentalities.
No place yet, but oh too soon.
