Courage

Courage is the art to uphold one’s truth.

The part inside oneself.
Honest about behaviour, past performance,
pain and disaster, strife, loss and failure.

About vengeance and that a useless waste in time.
About past acceptance, learning, tolerance
and overcoming the need
for perpetual shame and or grief.

The loss of time spent bemoaning who one is not.
The perpetual waste being someone
other than your gift ability and expressive self.

The courage
to value all human forms of life.
Preserve, relish and sanctify
that essence of your worth.
The part born with you at your birth.

The part often unacknowledged
and treated more with disdain
in a world full of unhappiness,
intolerance and continual Western complaint.

.

Love is courage when a God of form
enters into your quietness
as a brilliant life-giving thought.

Courage to listen.
Courage to bear.
Courage to be kind, caring and valuing who you are.
Courage to be considerate about yourself.

Expressing those divine thoughts
of good behaviour and creativity
out into a world angry with loss of focus
and in despair.

The courage to try and be truly who you are
against opposing thoughts, concerns
and worldly affairs.

Courage to love your life
and where you exist, inhabit, behave and exhibit.

Courage to form opinion about our world and worth.
About peaceful agendas, consideration and tolerance
for other nations, cultures and beliefs.

A notion not always heard, voiced or viewed,
debated or thought of but for you.

Courage then requires
a caution before blundering in
like a fundamental fool.
But watch, wait and listen.

Only then the courage of one’s heart and head
to decide what next.
To be worthy, humbly to speak out about
your well-thought out and considerate
point of view.

Valid, but worthy, solid and true.

Courage is the love of wisdom pouring in
lovingly wise words about you, your life
and the value of all humanity as you.

Love the antidote, the cure and the pain
to recognise a world of need and the value to maintain.

Sanctify and worship the source we all breathe.
And that it is life-giving
not a man-made, vile and ugly disease.
