but what are we to do?
So much more financial ruin
but nowhere does a criminal accusation
be heard or legality reign true.
So, in this present climate
a person must decide
who are they,
that allows such behaviour
themselves to slide by?
Who has a conscience
and what does that say of you?
You, who are to vote
and question
the politically elected.
the same as we, who are to deny
that voice of value
toward fair play for all?
All, who are justly proud to pay their due.
The type who honour the religious flavour
of good to one’s neighbour,
compassion and care, with caution
to those who are needy and without fair trial.
I am of a notion, equity is being denied.
Criminally, the upper echelons
need to begin
to undertake a lie detector process.
And have to work on values
to virtuously learn, greed an ugly word
where deceitful practice
and their fellow man suffers
because for eons, they have raped us blind.

Take me to the cleaners,
justify my pride.
Search my share portfolio
and all my offshore trillions
others too have hoarded.
And to us,
denied and not complied
legally their share.
To uphold the likes of human dignity.
The incarcerated
no voice to be heard, justified
and those poor souls homeless.
Debt ridden for the rest of their own
and future family’s lives.
Come to the party of fairness, equality
and the game for all to play.
So no further hardship
trying to survive each and every day.
Mindful too, how precious is one life
and that is a constancy to be held high
as is everyone’s value.
And virtue to be written
so no more violence world-wide.
