The Pilgrimage (back home)

I have been on a pilgrimage of sorts
travelling to unravel aspects of my fear
and trying to find a beauteous and creative part –
some say soul.

But I am convinced this is about the human mind
where the carnage of a greed-placed world exists,
no soul, just a greedy take-over approach to reside.

Evidence – Yes, get out and look.
See the value of your worth as a human being rot
and disgracefully discharge onto a criminal space
where the life of humanity (that is for each one of us),
has been eroded in the name of wealth.
And not all of it, but drop upon drop of another’s blood.
Oil – no more than for an oil dependent country in the west.

This is about life for a very few
and of them we are the participants idly going along
without first checking who we are in this global financial rort
at a damage level never ever being known before.
And to this I say,

Rise out of slumber and kiss that frog
and become a princely wise individual.

Sort through what is a conscience and ask…

What the hell am I to do
without water and clean air
and an earth to sustain?

Then as beauty has been part of my journey I say honestly,
after some very serious reflection…

Who am I in this world once glorious
now in a total state of destruction, corruption and despair?

And I found through that journey –

I am me and I count for something worthy to try.
So I will do just that – reverse and rewind,
repack and review who I am and what I can do
in that everyday nothingness
for what I leave must surely have import
if nothing other than
a more kindly, saintly approach to my fellow kind.
